The launch of a single Quality Policy for the entire Ternium organization has been announced. The document, which is an expression of the orientation held by the company towards excellence, was prepared by Quality specialists from Mexico and Argentina.

“A single company, a single Quality Policy”. This is the premise from which the launch of a single Quality Policy at Ternium was announced.

“We face the challenges of reinforcing the synergies among production units and being governed by common policies and procedures which are equal for all our industrial system and aimed at strengthening the relationship with our customers”, said Daniel Novegil, Ternium CEO.

The principles underlying Ternium’s Quality Management are expressed in the contents of the Policy, representing a statement of commitment with its customers, and are aligned with the vision of making Ternium America's leading steel company.

“We continue on the path of integration and excellence. Together, we add resources and align visions to become leader in flat and long steel production”, said Daniel Novegil. To guarantee coordination of key aspects of Quality Management, two functions have been defined within Ternium structure: Quality Systems and Product.

Ternium’s Quality Policy establishes the search for high Quality standards for products and services and expresses the commitment of the entire organization to our customers, in the belief that their success is our success. In addition, it focuses on human resources, promoting a culture towards integration, life quality, safety and the environment.

In the daily dynamics, the announcement means that Ternium’s human resources share the responsibility of implementing a single Quality Management System coherent with best industry practices, continuous improvement of systems and processes, fluid and transparent relationship with suppliers and customers, investment, systematic growth and customer satisfaction with Quality products and services.

The joint impulse from the group’s management staff, professionals, technicians and operators will enable to show “Ternium Quality” to the world. Accomplishing this objective will require: developing and implementing Ternium’s Quality Management System, homologating the way of Managing Quality, speaking of a single Quality, no matter where the product or service comes from, and then validating it through the award of Ternium’s Quality System certificate.
