Twenty years after listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Ternium celebrated this anniversary with the participation of Máximo Vedoya, CEO of Ternium, in the institution’s traditional bell-ringing ceremony. Accompanied by members of the executive leadership team, the CEO commemorated a milestone that marked a new stage of growth and consolidation for the company as one of the leading steel producers in the Americas.
Prior to the event, Máximo Vedoya, together with Pablo Brizzio, Chief Financial Officer; Sebastián Martí, Global Investor Relations Senior Director; and Judith Garza, Planning Senior Director at Ternium Mexico, met with market analysts.
Ternium’s presence on the NYSE, where it trades under the ticker symbol TX, began in 2006 and represented a strategic step in its regional expansion process. Since then, the company has strengthened its development under the highest international standards of transparency, corporate governance, and accountability, reinforcing the trust of investors, customers, employees, and communities.
Twenty years after that milestone, Ternium is one of the leading steel-producing companies in the Americas. With more than 33,000 employees, 20 production facilities, and industrial operations in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, and the United States, the company serves key value chains such as construction, automotive, home appliances, energy, and capital goods, contributing to the industrial development of the region.
Its growth is also reflected in an integrated platform that includes six mining operations and an extensive network of service and distribution centers, enabling the company to support its customers with advanced high value-added steel solutions while strengthening its presence in the Americas’ major markets.
In reports released following the meeting, experts agreed on Ternium’s commitment to growth and its strong presence across its markets.
“Operational excellence is deeply embedded in Ternium’s culture, with continuous improvement serving as a key pillar of its strategy,” highlighted Rafael Barcellos of Bradesco.
Meanwhile, UBS analyst Caio Greiner stated that the company is well positioned for sustained long-term growth: “The company continues to see attractive expansion opportunities across its operating locations.”
The opening and closing bells have been a New York Stock Exchange tradition since 1903. In 1995, the exchange began inviting leaders from various companies to participate in this event to celebrate key milestones in their history.
